Can Trailer Hub Seal that is Slightly Wider Replace Narrower One
Question:
The seal on my 1-1/16 boat trailer bearing replacement kit in thiner that the one i removed. The bearing sizes match L44649 . im confused? help please.

It's not uncommon to see trailer hub seals end up being different widths or thicknesses. Installing the slightly wider one that came with the bearing kit you have won't be an issue at all.
