Picking Out Replacement Range Hood for Older 5th Wheel
Question:
I need a new range hood for my 5th wheel. The one I have now has indicator lights for the holding tanks, battery power, and fresh water. It also has switches for a uni-wire monitor and the water pump. And then the switches for the light and exhaust fan. None of the hoods you sell have these things on them. Are they really necessary? The RV is permanently parked and directly connected to septic and water. The stove/oven is a Wedgewood - about a million years old. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

If you aren't using the indicator lights and switches you mentioned you don't need to have them on your new range hood. So what you would want to do is measure the width and depth of your current range hood and then check out the link I attached on this page to see which options will fit and work great. You'll also want to know if your current range is a ducted or non-ducted setup which you can select on the filters of the page I mentioned.
