Which Lights Do You Splice Into For Diode Wiring On A Jeep Grand Wagoneer

Question:

I submitted a question about a grand wagoneer and you provided a free answer and I appreciate that!! Are you going into the lights on the rear hatch or on the rear corner. There are no wires like that on the rear corner. I went ahead and used an Amazon light bar and stuck it to the bumper because the bcm would not allow me to use the factory taillights. Im not an electrical engineer so this stuff kinda blows my mind. Im just a dumb ole rv tech lol

The Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 would splice into the tail lights on the corner of the body and not the lights on the hatch. I've attached a short video below that Jake recently made that will walk you through how to install this kit step by step.
