The brake light switch wire on the 2018 Ford Transit 350 is going to be purple/white. If you didn't tap into this wire then you'll get no signal for the relay of the Even Brake # RM-9400 to work off of. That being said, since you're using a bulb and socket kit there's no need for a brake light relay since the lighting is completely separate from your vehicle and will turn on the same as if you were pulling a trailer behind your motorhome.

You'll just need to splice a wire into the white/purple brake light switch wire to connect it to the to the terminal
marked “1” on the ICX transmitter.

One of our installers, Brad, did mention that some Fords will have two white/purple wires for the brake light switch wire and will require you to splice them both together in order to get the signal, but I would just test the wires with a circuit tester # PTW2993 and depress the brake pedal to see which lights up first. If neither do then you'll need to splice them together, like I mentioned above.

The Even Brake activates solely off of inertia so you wouldn't be able to get it to activate by pressing the pedal if you weren't moving. The only way to activate it would be to pull the pin in your breakaway switch to simulate the signal and activate the system.
