Will The Reese Friction Sway Control Work With Husky Bolt On Mount at 26 Inches?

Question:

Id like to use the Husky 38964 Clamp Kit to install the Reese sway control. If I do, the ball mount will be 26 inches away from the coupler, instead of 24 the propane bracket is in the way on both sides. Also, just confirming that I can install upside down on the driver side. Thanks.

You can move your Propane Tank Tray # 37207-31535 by removing the tanks and the fasteners which hold the tray in place. This will give you the ability to move the tray so you can mount the Husky clamp kit you found so it sits at the 24" measurement you need for the Reese Friction Sway Control # 83660. The slide bar can be removed and inserted upside down for use on the drivers side.
