How To Connect Ground Wires On Snowmobile Trailer With Thick Steel Frame?

Question:

my problem is I am trying to wire my snowmobile 8Lx8.5W trailer and I cant get a hole to put my grounding wire for each of my lights marker, tail, and clearance lights. because the steel on the frame is to thick. I cant think oof an easy way to make it work.. the wiring has been stripped from the trailer so I dont have something to go by. I apologize if Im asking the wrong experts about this problem.I dont know where to turn to help me with my problem. Im very sorry for bothering you about this problem of mine.

Helpful Expert Reply:

For your snowmobile trailer I recommend using a 4-Way Harness # A25W2GWB which has a full length ground wire. This will allow you to connect the grounds from your different lights to the wire rather than to the trailer frame. If you already have a harness you can run a separate wire down both sides of your trailer to all the lights and connect to the trailer connector.
