How to Change Brighness On Tuson DirecLink Base Model Trailer Brake Controller # 335DL-100?

2004 f 350 diesel. When I hit the break I can barely see that it says vehicle search 012345 and 6 and then it starts over. I can barely read what its saying and its night time. How do I turn up the light in the control handle?

To adjust the brightness on the Tuson DirecLink Base Model Trailer Brake Controller # 335DL-100 you will need to hold the home button for 5 seconds. Then release the home button and wait 5 seconds for the configure options window to open. Then press the up or down arrow until you see the screen say "Keypad Config" and press enter. You should then see the "Scrn Bright" and hit enter then you will be able to use the up and down arrows to change the brightness and hit enter again. All this can also be found in the instructions which I have linked below in section 9.
