Replacement 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box for Lippert 1116 on a 2016 Keystone Fuzion 371
Question:
I have a lippert pin box and am looking to see what model number the pin box is as I want to change it to a goosebox. My tag on the box states it is lci item number 351416 and SN 019-001008646. I have a 2016 keystone fuzion 371 toy hauler. Thanks for the help.

According to the serial number you sent in your Lippert pin box is a 1116. This means the correct Reese Goose Box replacement is part # RP94716-61301 but I have a different recommendation for 2 reasons; this pin box is only rated for 16,000 lbs and the GVWR of your Keystone is 16,500 lbs so you can potentially overload the pin box, plus the parent company of Reese was bought out not long ago (as of May 2023) and availability of a lot of their products is still up in the air so it may be a while before you can get this pin box.
Because of all this I recommend going with the Gen-Y Executive Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY78FR instead. This uses rubber torsion arms instead of air bags for that extra ride comfort and this fits right in line with the weight rating of your 5th wheel trailer. The max weight is 30K but we are more concerned about the pin weight rating.
Attached are some videos of each pin box for you to check out.
