Does Thule Hullavator Come With T-Bolts For Crossbar Channels

Question:

I have purchased the 58” Malone AirFlow2 crossbars for my 2016 Nissan Rogue and the Hullivator kayak rack but I can’t seem to get the Hullivator installed on the crossbars as the t bolt is too thick. I have read from your site “The Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist # TH898 actually comes with the hardware necessary to fit into the T-slot channel on the Malone AirFlow 2 Aero Crossbars 58inch # MPG216. You do not need anything else in order to do this.“ Amy J at etrailer.com has been helping me…and has told me the tech guys say all necessary parts are included, but “I don’t see any t bolts listed on the Thule parts list.” I’ve asked which parts list “letter” they are, but the tech guys did not reply. Amy J did give me the Thule phone number, I called Thule, and Thule does not think the Malone crossbars are compatible with the Thule Hullivator kayak rack. So, ultimately, I don’t believe these two systems are compatible. It would be lovely if the tech guys could show/describe how they attach together.

The Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # TH898 has the ability to mount in crossbar channels, but it doesn't come with T-bolts. What you do is use the included hardware which allows you to do so, and you can see this starting on page 7 of the instructions.

That tells you how to put together the load bar, and once you do that, you'll use the square nuts (part J) and slide them in the crossbar channels, then use 37mm socket head cap screws (part EE) through the load bar and tighten them to the square nuts using the 5mm hex wrench (part L).
