Do The Bushings In The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizer Need To Be Replaced To Use Wet Bolts
Question:
I notice that there is brass bushings in the mounting holes for the Equaflex, so the question is if you go with a wet bolt kit should you change those bushings for the brass ones the kit comes with or use those ones that are factory installed for the Equaflex!

The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687 comes with bronze bushings already installed in the eyelets so you wouldn't need to change them out in order to use wet bolts and lubricant. If you had an equalizer or leaf spring with nylon bushings then you would need to replace the bushing with bronze ones.
I would just hang onto the bushing included with the wet bolt kits and save them for when the bushings need to be replaced so that you're not spending as much down the road.
