Troubleshooting Blaylock Door Lock # BLDL-80 Not Fitting On New Enclosed Trailer
Question:
Hi I have 3 of these locks BLDL-80 and have always worked great on a 2010 Royal 14foot enclosed trailer. I recently traded that trailer for a new 2023 LOOK trailer and these wont fit. Have you ran into this issue? Are there different models or sizes?

We have come across a couple instances where the Blaylock Door Lock # BLDL-80 would not fit as the hole for the latch on the trailer sat to close to the trailer. An easy fix to to bend the mounting bracket holes out slightly to allow the pin on the lock to fit. This may be as easy a pulling on the handle slightly when the latches are shut to pull them away from the trailer. They unfortunately do not offer these locks in any other sizes at this time.
