Question:

Im in need of replacement for my Atwood gch10a-4e water heater. the problem I am running into is that I have a basement door that swings up to get to the heater door. The exhaust is on the top left and cant be anywhere else. I found a Dometic replacement but the Exhaust is in the middle

Motorhome manufacturers have definitely limited what you can use with their door designs. All of the standard sized units we currently offer have the exhaust located towards the top in the middle so they wouldn't work well with your motorhome's door. The only other option that would work besides cutting out a new exhaust hole in the door would be to swap to a unit like the Excel RV Tankless Water Heater # EX93FR, which doesn't require a vent to the outside.

This unit can just requires 3" of clearance from each side and 8" of clearance from the top of the body of the water heater in order to properly vent, making it a much easier replacement for your situation. This unit has a 38,000 Btu heating capacity and a 1.6 gpm flow rate, but is best when only using one point of contact. This means it might not be enough to keep up if someone is taking a shower and someone else is washing dishes.
