Length of Wiring Harness on Thule License Plate Holder for Bike Racks
Question:
How long is the wire on this? Id like to hook it up to a 4-way flat connector with the extra pins secured with heat shrink tubing, but I want to make sure Ive got enough wiring to do the job. My specific application is the etrailer hitch on a 2021 Mazda CX-5, with a Küat NV 2.0 + 1 bike extension. Ultimately, I just want to know the length so that I can cut + solder additional wire if necessary. What Id like to do is have a quick disconnect at both ends of this setup - one for the plate, another for the vehicle, so that I can keep the majority of the wiring in place on the rack. Any suggestions are welcome!
