Can The Custer Light Bar Transmitter Be Placed In The Towed Vehicle 7-Way

Regarding the Custer Wireless tow bar light LIW-LDTL-7B: Does the 7-way connector feed through to the opposite end so as to supply 12V to Patriot braking system?

No, the Custer Wireless LED Tow Bar Light # LIW-LDTL-7B would have to be in the motorhome 7-way in order to receive the traffic signals from the motorhome and send them to the light bar. If it was in the towed vehicle you wouldn't get a signal at all since the vehicle isn't running and sending anything to the 7-way.
The Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR would get its power from the battery of the towed vehicle. In most vehicles the 12v outlet loses power when the vehicle isn't running so you would need to install a separate 12v outlet # RM-9332 in order to power your braking system.
