Replacement Bearing for 2016 Forest River Rockwood Ultra Lite 8281WS

Question:

My 2016 Forest River Rockwood Ultra Lite 8281WS with 4.4K Axel had outer Bearings # 44649inch which according to the chart are for a 3.5 K Axel. According to your chart the Outer bearings for 4.4K axel is LM67048. As the O.D of 2.65inch is the same for both the 3.5K and the 4.4K are they interchangeable. My Fifth wheel outer bearing came with the L44649. Hope this is not too confusing. I want to order new bearings and want to make sure I order the correct ones. Thanks for your time. Note: The inner bearings L68149 are the same for either axel so no problem with them.

Since you know that your 4.4k axle has the bearings # L44649 and # L68149 those would be the correct replacement bearings for you to go with. While the inner diameters of some bearings can be the same the cone side would be different which would prevent some bearings from fitting into the hub. In this situation you need to stick with the same bearing numbers.
