Can the ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Hater Pad Be Used On Trailer Batteries?
Question:
I have two lithium batteries installed in my travel trailer, inside under the bed. During storage I normally dont have the heat on and am looking for a thermostat controlled pad, blanket to use during the winter months. This item looks like it would work. I would place it between the two batteries not under them. It would be held in place by two batteries being squished together. would this work? The ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad w/ Thermostat # 277-000163 is actually not going to be able to work as a battery warmer as this heating pad was designed to be installed on a large 29-40 gallon tank,
You'd be better off using an actual battery heater like # KH22401. This battery heating pad is specially designed to do what you're looking to do and is made to be used on batteries.
I recommend scrolling down a bit on this page and checking out our battery heater page that I've linked where you can find all of our battery heaters; or you can let me know what kind of batteries you have and I can see what we have..
