Can An Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Hitch Be Used With A Trailair Air Ride Pin Box
Question:
I have and Anderson hitch in my truck to pull my 2019 Keystone Cougar 5th wheel. It has a pin box model LIPP1621, GVRW 15,500lbs. Can I use the air ride kingpin hitch with my Anderson hitch? thanks

The Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # AM3200 is compatible with a Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC158778. That being said Andersen states you need to use their flex lockout kit because there is too much movement in the pivot of the Flex cushion for that hitch without locking it out, which would essentially negate the benefit the pin box would give you.
