Is There a More Heavy-Duty Wheel and Tire Option For a Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer
Question:
Do you have a wheel and tire that will fit the yakama dual level kayak trailer for on and off road that is heavier duty than the OEM?

The Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer # Y08129 uses a 4-on-4 bolt pattern. There are limited options for replacement wheels that fit that bolt pattern and could be considered an upgrade.
The wheels/tires used on the trailer currently are load range C tires and have a speed rating of 75mph. The Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Tire # AM35351DX is a load range D tire with a speed rating of 81mph. This would be a more "heavy-duty" tire because it can support more load than the OEM ties on the trailer. But this tire is slightly more narrow, which makes it a little less ideal for off-road use.
To be completely honest, the slight "upgrade" you are getting weight and speed wise with the Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Tire # AM35351DX is probably not worth it. If you are staying within the weight capacities of the Yakima trailer crossbars, you will not exceed the tire/wheel ratings and the off-road performance would be better with the slightly wider OEM tires.
