Do Weathertech Rain Guards Block Hard Winds from Entering Vehicle
Question:
Back in the day you could open your wing window and eliminate wind coming into the main window. The chief advantage was that you could now put your elbow out of the window while driving and not get windblown. Will these provide the same advantage?

The Weathertech Window Rain Guards part # WT84426 that you referenced are mainly designed to allow you to open the vehicle window while it's raining so that you can have some outside air circulation without allowing the rain into the vehicle. As someone who has them on their Tahoe I can say they do block some air turbulence from entering the vehicle when the window is down as well. But will you be able to put your whole elbow out the window without getting a hard breeze on it? The answer to that would be no, but the wind wouldn't be as hard of a blast.
