Parts Needed to Flat-Tow a 2014 Ford Fiesta
Question:
Hi, I watched a video about hooking up a 2014 Ford Fiesta to a Motorhome. In the video a list of required components is listed, but I wasnt able to get a total mount in terms of price. If I have a motorhome with existing hitch installed and an existing brake controller installed, what would my total cost be for the flat tow set up? I am looking at the Roadmaster Falcon tow bar/baseplate with wiring kit, safety cables and pins. What is the cost of the electric brake kit and the total overall cost of all the components needed? Thanks

In order to setup a 2014 Ford Fiesta for flat-towing you'll need a base plate kit, tow bar, towed vehicle wiring harness, and a supplemental braking system. I have attached a list of these for you below. Please note, you can't use an electric trailer brake controller to activate the brakes on the towed vehicle as they are hydraulic, not electric.
Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-524438-5
Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar part # RM-522
Roadmaster 64" Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables part # RM-645

Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System part # HM39524
