Low Output Numbers with Braking on Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller
Question:
Yes my prodigy P2 brake control has been working great and now all of a sudden it wont go above number four when I press down on my brake.

The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 is proportional so you'll get a number relative to the speed/stopping force of the vehicle. For example, if you're just driving around town you may not see a high number on the display. If you still have this issue under heavy braking, it may just be as simple as adjusting the gain setting. This is shown in the install instructions which I have attached for you below. If all else fails, unplug the controller and let it sit for about 15 minutes as this typically resets everything.
