Do bump stops need to be removed when installing rear air bags

When installing the Air Lift air bag kit part # AL60776 on your 2006 Chevy Malibu you will need to mostly cut off the bump stop of the vehicle to complete the install. You will end up needing to cut off all but 1/2 of an inch from the cup it installs in. For more info check out the install link I attached to this page as well.
