What Would Cause Hydrastar Brake Actuator to Not Work with Manual Override
Question:
I just finished my conversion install on my boat trailer, the hydrastar works when i pull the brakeaway switch it also works when i push my brake pedal but it doesnt work when i manual push my brake controller. maybe i wired something wrong or maybe the truck wont send a signal from the brake controller unless its moving im not sure.

That sounds like a brake controller issue actually. The Hydrastar really only interprets brake output voltage and it's doing that correctly with the brake pedal and breakaway kit so that would seem to point towards the brake controller. I would check the wiring of the controller.
