Will Curt Q25 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy Prep Package Work on 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500

Question:

I owned a 2018 3500 High country Chev that i bought a Q25 Curt fifth wheel hitch for, the truck had the OEM puck system. Will this adaptor allow me to use that hitch in a 2011 2500 Chevy truck ?

I do have an option for you but the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # RP30868 has a Ford footprint, even though it's a fit for a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. In order to use the Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package, you'll have to switch out the base for the Curt R24 Round Tube Slider for Q24 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # C16570 and then install the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC part # C16411-204.
