How to Install a Brake Controller in a 2003 Chevy Silverado
Question:
just got a 03 2500 duramax put a brake conriller on it.didnt had trailer bake till i run 1 of the wire to brake switch.now at nite my brake controller lite burn deam and when i hit the brake it burns brite .is that right? and also at nite my cruse dont want to work.what the problem

There is a much easier way you could have installed the brake controller in your 2003 Chevy Silverado. There should be a port under the dash that would allow you to install a the brake controller by just simply plugging it into that port under your dash. Check out the FAQ article I attached that details everything. You will need to make a couple connections under the dash of your vehicle.
Have you tried disconnecting your brake controller to see if the issues you are seeing will go away?
I would be willing to bet that if you install the brake controller per the instructions in the FAQ article I attached your brake controller will work well and all of the issues you are having will go away.
