What is used in the groove to hold these ends in the poles.

The grooved ends of the Taylor Made Internal Eye Ends for 3/4" Bimini Top Poles # TM88YR will "snap" into place (for lack of a better term) on the poles. If you check out the end of your pole that this fits to you'll see what I'm talking about.
