I have a few options for you to help with identifying the brakes on your trailer. The first and easiest method would be to crawl under the trailer and look for the axle tag on the beam. This should give an axle capacity which we can then use to find the brakes based off industry standards. For example, a 3,500 lb axle uses like the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA.
The other option would be to take the hubs off the trailer and either read the part numbers off the old bearings or measure them with a dial caliper to the nearest thousandth of an inch. I have attached an article that goes over this process in more detail.
I have also attached a link with list of trailer brakes.
