Proper Wheel Lug Nut Torque For a CE Smith Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # CE13515 with 15" Wheels
Question:
Trying to find the torque spec or general recommendation for CE Smith Hub Assembly #CE13515. I reached out to CE Smith and even they didnt know. On other trailers that Ive owned, it was generally between 90- 100 ft lbs for 1/2 stud using a 15inch wheel. At any rate, this information is important and should be included with installation kits. My second question is regarding torque specs on installing a 2inch ball on 3500lb drawbar?

For mounting a 15" wheel on the CE Smith Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # CE13515 you will want to torque the wheel nuts to either 90-120ft-lbs on a steel wheel or 90-100ft-lbs on an aluminum wheel. I have included our a wheel torque chart below as well.
