Why Does Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System Swing to the Right Side
Question:
Is there an option for the rack to swing the other direction? This one swings to the right. I would like it to swing to the left. Thanks

This is a good question but all of the Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System w/ 2 Cargo Carriers - 2" Hitches like the part # Y84ZR swing out to the right side. This is because if for some reason you had to pull over on the shoulder and needed to access the rear cargo area you wouldn't be forced to swing the carrier out into the traffic side of the vehicle. This is why basically all swing out carriers swing to the right.
