2006 Ford f250 Super Duty. Existing factory controller has two plug-ins on back. Do I disconnect both of them and plug in adaptor to only the one that fits

Expert Reply:

Yes, to install the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, # 90885, in place of your factory brake controller you will need to disconnect the plugs and use the gray 4-pin plug that matches the wiring adapter, # 3065-P, for the P2 brake controller.

Keep in mind, disconnecting the factory brake controller may set a fault code on the instrument cluster. The only way to have the code removed is to take the truck to a Ford dealer and have them turn off the factory controller. I have attached a Technical Bulletin regarding this issue for you to check out.
