Question:
I replaced brake/blinker bulbs on my utility trailer with led and now I get error codes and brake disconnect codes in y F350. What do I need to correct this? Thank you

This type of issue is most commonly due to poor ground connections and/or a bad connection on the 7-way connector itself. You can often get some corrosion or oxidation on the connectors which with incandescent lights have enough amperage to push through. When you went to LED's they are using significantly less amperage and will need a better connection as they will not allow power to push through as easily. Check and clean your ground wire connections and the terminals in your 7-way on the truck and trailer. Be sure to use Dielectric Grease # 11755 on your 7-way connectors to also help reduce issues.
I have also heard of some using a Trailer Connector Adapter # 20142 which is designed to pull additional power with resistors built in to prevent the F-350 from throwing the error.
