Troubleshooting An E1 Error On A Fogatti Tankless Water Heater

Question:

I have the rec pro fogatti tankless hot water heater and it was working fine, now when you turn on the hot water and it works and starts to get hot but after running for about 30 seconds the flame goes out and it gives the E1 fault, I’ve checked my battery voltage, propane tank and actually connected different tank to make sure. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks

An E1 error code with a Fogatti Tankless Water Heater # LSB64FR means you have an ignition failure. This either means that the ignitor is bad or that the unit just isn't getting 11" WC LP pressure in order to properly maintain a flame and stay lit.

Since yours is newer it leads me to believe the propane is most likely the culprit. You'll need to have a licensed technician meter your trailer/motorhome's propane system to see what the actual pressure reading is and either adjust or replace your regulator. If your regulator is in need of replacement we offer quite a few options and I'd be happy to help pick out the correct replacement once I see what you currently have.

If the propane pressure is correct then your water heater has an internal issue with the ignitor and you'll need to reach out to the manufacturer directly for a warranty replacement.
