How to Connect Stop Light Circuit Wire from 2017 Ford Flex to Tekonsha Primus Brake Controller

2017 for flex I have a primus 90160 brake controller. How do I tap it into the brake switch?

The stop light switch wire you're looking for on your 2017 Ford Flex is a purple/white wire. This will connect to the red wire from the Tekonsha Primus IQ 90160 (replaced by the # 90885).
What you're going to do is cut that wire and then reconnect it using a butt connector, but also fitting that red wire into one end of the butt connect prior to crimping it down.
