Can Underslung A-Frame Coupler be Replaced With Overslung Coupler
Question:
I have a 1968, 31foot sovereign landyatch. The coupler is original and has been damaged. Its an underslung type coupler. My question: After I remove this welded on coupler, can I replace it with a top slung coupler from you folks? TY.

Yes, you can replace your underslung A-frame trailer coupler with an overslung coupler. Just choose the one with the right ball connection and weight capacity. For example, if you attach to a 2-5/16" hitch ball and need up to 15,000 lbs capacity use the A-Frame Trailer Coupler # CA-5280-RB.
I have added a link below to our entire selection of A-frame couplers for you to take a look at.
