Replacement Tires for Venter Luggage Trailer With 155/80R13 Tires

Question:

Hi. I have a small Venter luggage trailer I use for hauling camping gear. The current tires are a 155/80R13 on a 4 bolt wheel that I think is 4.5 pattern it says Standard Rim 4.50B. Id like to up size the tires a little and get a slightly more AT tread. Can you help me find tires that will find this wheel? Your filters online dont have a 4 bolt 4.5 option.

The wheels on your trailer are 13" x 4-1/2" with a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. That 4.50 indicates the width, not the bolt pattern. You can move to a larger tire assuming you have the clearance. We recommend 3" of clearance on top of the tire and 2" on the inside to allow for suspension travel.

For a larger tire that fits your wheels I recommend the Provider ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWTRTM1758013C. This uses automotive-grade tread instead of standard trailer tire tread. The Provider has ribs with breaks which will allow water to run off to the sides. It also has sipes so it makes better contact with the road giving it better traction. The outer diameter is 24" and the section width is 6.97". You will need to compare this to your current tires to make sure it will fit.
