Can Lippert Ground Control Run Off of 30 Amp RV Outlet

Can you run a 50 am rv off a 40or 50’amp welder outlet? Will auto leveling work if all can do to get power is to adapt from 50 down to 30 and than again down to just normal plugin?

The power circuit for each leg of the Lippert Ground Control leveling system # LC358590 is protected by a 35 amp fuse. That means that at most the entire unit could draw up to 140 amps 12 volts at a time. Realistically it would probably be considerably less but that really depends on the weight of the trailer.
Now 30 amps at 120 volts (what would be present at a 30 amp outlet) is 331 amps when converted to DC so yes you'd easily have enough power. Just for fun...at 50 amps AC the power is 551 amps when converted to DC. Your RV has an converter that converts the AC outlet power to DC power which the Ground Control requires.
