Does a 5th Airborne Air Ride Pin Box Have the Same Dimensions as a Factory Pin Box
Question:
I am looking at replacing the Lippert 1621HD pin box with a 5th Airborne. I currently have a slight interference between the pinbox and by bed cover rails, which sit on top of the rail. My TV is a 2013 GMC 3500, so the bed rails are a little higher than in the past. Will the 5th Airborne have at least the same clearance as the 1621HD?

The 5th Airborne replacement pin boxes such as # 5AB-E1621-610 which is correct for your Lippert 1621HD pin box, have approximately the same dimensions as the factory pin box.
You can adjust the height of most 5th wheel trailer hitches up and down, as well as adjust the factory or aftermarket pin boxes up and down to achieve better clearance.
