Can I Install a Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller in a 2016 Kia Sorento?

Hi am looking to buy a brake controller for my 2016 Kia Sorento. I am interested in the Redarc Liberty, RED24F. However, your website is saying it is not a fit for my vehicle. Will this controller work or not. It does say it will work for 2018 Sorento. Thank you.

Yes, the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED24FR will absolutely work in your 2016 Sorento. The reason it says it doesn't fit is because you need to purchase the Universal Wiring Harness item # RED69FR to complete your install. There isn't a port in your Kia to plug in the brake controller so you will need to use this harness.
