I have a 2017 Heartland Torque T285 - which doesnt appear to show up on many parts databases. Will these brakes replace the OEM on my trailer?

From all of the information I can find on your 2017 Heartland Torque T285 it should have left the factory with tandem 6,000lbs axles though I recommend crawling under it and checking the axle tag on the center of the axles to confirm this as trailer manufacturers like to change parts randomly.
The Dexter # 23-105-106 you were looking at would be the correct replacement for your 6,000lb axles.
While you have the drums off check that there's no ridges/wear or else you'll need to also replace them with # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K assuming you have the factory 6 lug bolt pattern.
