How Do Winches Normally Attach to Trailer
Question:
I would like to add a winch to my enclosed aluminum trailer. While I see winches, I do not see an appropriate mounting plate. Do you offer one?

Expert Reply:
We don't have winch plates designed specifically for mounting winches to trailers but what a lot of people will do is attach the winch to a hitch plate like the part # C31010 and then weld a hitch tube to the trailer like with the part # E-9. This allows you to pretty easily remove the winch if ever needed as well.
