How To Stop Wheels From Coming into Contact with Floor on Keystone Cougar

Question:

I have a 2020 Keystone Cougar 29BHSWE. My question is well these work as bump stops as the wheels have hit the floor, common problem with Keystone Cougar possibly from going over bump/pot holes. the trailer is not over loaded, weighted 8250, with a 8800 GVWR, GAWR 4400. The trailer has a Road Armor Tandem Axle Equalizer. This

The SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs like part # TSS-107-40 do sort of act as bump stops so they could very wheel help stop the wheels from coming into contact with the floor although this is not exactly what they are designed for. You'll want to play around with the kit when installing to see which configuration works best for you i.e. with or without the included spacer. The other option you might consider is lifting the trailer with a kit like the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit part # RR23QX which should also help to stop the wheels from coming into contact with the floor. This option would also give you more ground clearance.
