Troubleshooting A Lippert Electric RV Stabilizer That Over-Extended And No Longer Works
Question:
The rear electric leveling jack on my 2015 Columbus over extended. The motor runs but the jack will not go up. I can lift the jack up and it sounds as if it has come unscrewed and it won’t match threads and go up. How do I get it started back up?

If the leg of the Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707 has skipped the threads on the rod that runs between the legs and turns with the motor then you're either looking at custom fabricator work to take it apart and find exactly where is skipped and fixing any damage or just completely replacing the jack altogether.
I recommend trying the manual crank to see if the jack leg still functions properly and if the motor just has internal damage. You could be hearing the motor still running but it could have a broken gear causing it to not actually raise/lower the jack legs. If this is the case then you could just swap out the motor # LC352338.
