Do Firestone Ride-Rite F2609 Install On Leaf Springs Of 2019 GMC Sierra 1500?

Question:

Do the F2609 Firestone air bags mount to the top of leaf springs ? I have the active suspension kit 4611-HD installed already and my truck still squats an 1-1/2 “ still! even with the curt 10,000 to 15,000 weight distribution, and anti-sway hitch. When I ordered the F2609 air bags from you I was told that they would mount without a problem with the Active suspension. I just looked at one of the videos on your site and Firestone bags were installed on the leaf springs ?

The Firestone Ride-Rite # F2609 for your 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 do not mount to the leaf springs, and instead mount to the axle pad next to the leaf springs which you can see in the included picture. Just make sure the RAS you have installed is not blocking any of those mounting holes. Not sure which video you saw but for your truck they don't mount on the leaf springs.

I will say with having the RAS # RAS54FR and a weight distribution hitch on it sounds like somethings setup wrong, because you should not have that much squat still. Have you measured the total loaded tongue weight of your trailer? Sounds like a weight distribution hitch that's either undersized or not adjusted with enough tension on the spring bars.
