Question:
I have a 2016 Coachmen246RKS and I need to replace the brakes. Looking for what I need to replace with original quality parts and also any upgrades that may be available. Interested in pricing and parts # for everything but not sure of all that I will need to replace till I tear it apart. Thank you

To determine exactly what brakes were installed on the axles underneath your 2016 Coachmen Freedom Express 246RKS I will need to see the axle tag information on the back of the axles. The only thing I can see is you have 3,500lb axles under it from the factory. If they are Dexter axles then you will likely have either their Standard Brake Kit # 23-26-27 or the upgraded Self-Adjusting Brake Kit # 23-468-469. Each kit contains a left and a right brake assembly for one axle. The self-adjusting are the best way to go and with getting a whole new assembly you are less likely to have issues later on with the magnets or springs if you were only to replace the worn shoes. Please let me know if you are able to locate the axle tags and have an axle other than Dexter.
