Can The UFP Hub/Drums HD-1377-10 Be Resurfaced Or Will They Need Replaced?

Question:

Hello, I have a boat trailer with hydraulic drum brakes and the drum has this number on the outside. HD-1377-10. Wondering what the max inside diameter measurement can be to determine if I need to replace the drum with this item below. Further inspection on the drum is all good, bearings, races, no discoloration. Thank you : Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles - 10inch Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2 Item # 84546UC3

Based on images I could find it would appear the maximum internal diameter is 10.09. This information should be stamped on the drum itself. If you do not have any dimensions stamped on your drum they should not be turned and will just need to be replaced with the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 84546UC3 that you already found. We also have this hub/drum as an EZ Lube # 84546UC3-EZ if you have the grease zerk on the end of your spindles.
