Should 2022 Ford F-250 Need Dexter EOH Adapter to be Used with Dexter Actuator

Question:

Is this part applicable to a- Dexter Brake rite Serial NO 221511 Model: 1100 068-003-02 Which is the exact verbiage on the back of the housing. On the side of if it says Sealed 4161910 And if so, which installation diagram is most appropriate? None of the options seem exactly right. One thing that I notice is that my break away switch is wired blue and white only. The reason Im looking into this is because my 2022 F250 shows trailer disconnectedinch warnings on the dash every time it touch the brakes or manually apply the brake controller module. Fortunately, though, everything brakes, lights/signals is functioning just fine, but something isnt copacetic, apparently. Thanks

This is exact same adapter as the Dexter part number you mentioned with the part # DX35FR. Now with that said your 2022 Ford F-250 shouldn't need this adapter so that makes me think you just need to put your brake controller into hydraulic mode.

Setting my 2022 F-150 to “Electric Over Hydraulic” mode didn’t work for me (10-year old BrakeRite Actuator). Installing this adapter fixed the constant “Trailer Disconnected” messages, and allowed the integrated brake control function to work properly.

@RonG Good to know! What we've found is the integrated controllers are just unreliable with EOH actuators and it's not consistent when they should work or not.
