Does Blue Wire of 7-Way Need to Connect on Vehicle for Tekonsha RF to Function
Question:
If the blue brake wire isn’t connected to anything from my vehicles 7 pin adapter, will the wireless Prodigy brake control still work? Does the blue brake power wire have to be connected, if so where should it be connected to? The battery? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The brake output (blue wire) on your tow vehicle's 7-way does not need to connect to anything for the Tekonsha Prodigy RF # TK94FR to function. The RF actually provides the function for this circuit so there would be no place on the vehicle for the blue wire to connect.
