Solution to Gain Additional 5th Wheel Trailer Jack Ground Clearance
Question:
My jacks on my fifth wheel are too lowrear and there is not room to move them up, is there a solution to this problem. I found that there are two lengths, but mine are already the shorter of the two offers. I though I saw an article on cutting the bottom of the jack leg by a few inches and reattaching the pad, but I cannot seem to find it. The pads are 4 1/2 inches from the ground and in the departure angle of the wheels/bumper. This is on a 2023 Dutchmen Astoria

What about liftin the suspension of your fifth wheel like with a 2-1/4 inch lift kit like part # RR23QX? That would be the best way we could help you get more ground clearance from your leveling jack system. We don't have a way to make the jacks shorter.
