Although the 2014 Mercedes ML350 has a spoiler located at the top of the hatch lid, Thule has tested the fit of the OutWay # TH45JV on the 2014 ML350, and has found that the spoiler is plenty strong enough to support the top connecting cables without being damaged. The OutWay is incredibly easy to install and remove, using 2 retracting cables instead of the 6 straps used by other racks.

To carry women's bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # 64005 is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.
