Recommended Installation Kit and 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2015 Ford F-350

I have a 2015 f350 lariat and I’m looking for a 5th wheel ball and the whole hitch assembly. I don’t have any brackets or anything. Would you be able to direct me in the right way and what I all need.

I would be happy to help you. Since you do not have any brackets or rails, I recommend starting with the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches item # BWGNRK1111-5W. This will provide you with a base to mount a B&W hitch in but will also allow you to keep your bed open and clear when you are not towing.

This custom fit gooseneck hitch has a 30,000 lbs capacity and attaches to holes already drilled in your F-350's frame.

There are a couple of options for a hitch depending on the length of your trucks bed. If you have a short bed truck you will likely need a sliding hitch. You will want the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # BWRVK3400-5W. The Companion Slider has a 20,000 lbs capacity and will give you 12" of travel for making tight turns and backing.

If you have the 8' bed you will want the standard B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # BWRVK3500-5W.

Both of these Companion hitches have 1" thick dual jaws that give you a 360-degree jaw to kingpin contact. This system minimizes the chucking, jarring and noise that can occur when towing a fifth wheel trailer. This not only provides a more secure connection but also a quieter more comfortable towing experience.
